I am starting this blog as a way to share info and feelings about living with Down Syndrome. My sister, Ann, has Down Syndrome. She is 52 years old and has lived with my husband Dana and I since the passing of our folks in 1997 and 2002. Dana is 60 and I am 56 years old. Some things have been hard for Dana and I and some things hard for Ann, but mostly, we are simply a "new" family unit that laughs, cries and has a lot of fun together. We are fortunate to have supportive siblings and a nice home. Dana and I have 2 grown children and 3 beautiful grandchildren, all of whom are growing up knowing Ann and learning about people that are different from them. I hope you enjoy meeting us!
